KAS Group Asia (KGA) provides direct and exclusive strategic Sourcing to iconic retail brands such as Kmart Australia and Target Australia. Being an integral and strategic part of Australia’s flagship retail brands’ products journey KGA supports them from product concept to the customers, KGA manages its business in Asia under Kmart Australia Sourcing (KAS) and Target Australia Sourcing (TAS) supporting Kmart and Target with its operations spanning the largest sourcing markets across Asia including China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
The KAS group was looking for new technologies and methods to drive better control, compliance and user-friendly, multi-platform systems within non-product retail spend categories.
Solution
Turium, with its strong track record of bringing innovative ideas to life, was chosen by KGA as the service implementation and integration partner. The solution involved:
- Integration with SAP Systems: Implementing and integrating SAP Concur Expense and Request Modules with SAP core business systems such as SuccessFactors and ERPs (SAP ECC and S4/HANA).
- Global Rollout: Launched for over 7 entities within KGA across Asia.
- Collaborative Design Workshops: Turium consultants worked closely with KGA’s Finance, IT, and other team members to understand business challenges and suggest solutions embedding integration and API best practices.
Using the Algoreus platform’s library of reusable APIs and integrations, Turium:
- Connected Data Systems: Integrated data between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur, accelerating daily employee data integration with a pre-packaged approach.
- Enhanced System Performance: Seamlessly synced master data in ERPs and SAP Concur, replicating cost centres from ECC and S/4HANA to SAP Concur, and expense reports from SAP Concur to SAP ECC.
- Supported Flexible Mapping: Provided direct integration with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA financial systems, supporting KGA-specific integration use cases.
