“

We were able to move from fragmented, Stone Age processes to a modern, connected, digitised workflow that gives us more control, more efficiency, enterprise class security, and makes life easier for our users. It's a huge achievement, and one that our entire team is extremely proud of.

— Shima Shamloo, Senior Advisor, Treasury and Automation, Corporate Finance

Drivers for change

AMSA's finance operations were burdened by decades-old legacy systems, resulting in highly manual processes for expense creation, invoice reconciliation, and tracking approvals.

Solution

Turium implemented SAP Concur and connected Concur Expense, ExpenseIT, and Concur Request with TechnologyOne FMIS, Aurion, and Westpac Payment Gateway using Turium Algoreus. The integration required re-engineering procurement configuration and master data workflow, including customizations for unique workflows like linking complex corporate authorization tables to approval workflows and reconciling invoice backlogs using Turium Algoreus mapping features.

Impact

Results across the AMSA.

The transformation delivered substantial efficiency gains, reduced reimbursement times, enhanced operational control, unprecedented visibility and traceability of financial processes, and enabled employees to capture and submit receipts digitally from anywhere, reducing manual paperwork and allowing staff to focus on core responsibilities.
