Senior Backend Engineer

Turium is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build core services powering our enterprise AI platform.

About the Role

As Senior Backend Engineer, you'll design and build the services and APIs that power Turium's platform, working closely with Product on scoping and architecture.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and ship features across Turium's enterprise AI platform.
• Own services end to end — from architecture through production monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design on scoping and technical tradeoffs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and review teammates' work thoughtfully.
• Help improve engineering practices, tooling, and reliability as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, and data modeling.
• Experience operating production services at scale.
• Comfortable moving across the stack when needed.
• You care about code quality without over-engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or data platforms.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
